MYT Community

We hope everyone is doing and keeping well.  As you may suspect, given the guidance and mandates from all relevant authorities, we must cancel the production of Dr. Dolittle scheduled to go up in May.

On the positive side, the Board and the MYT creative team are committed to providing opportunities for our community to participate in musical theater this spring.  It seems like we are all going to have a lot of time on our hands and we are considering how to best keep the arts and musical theater alive, and our kids engaged, until life returns to “normal,” something that seems likely to be months away. If you have any ideas for programming that you would like to be a part of and/or that you would like to help plan, that meets the needs of these “social distancing” times, please reach out to Tammy or anyone on the MYT Board with your ideas (names listed below).

We will send out additional communications when we have our plans solidified.  In the meantime stay well!  We will get through this, and we can not wait to share the stage with you all again!

The MYT Board,

Meleena Sheffler
Diane Smith Howard
Michael Millett
Brianne Martin
