Wonka Character Discriptions

Audition Dates:
Friday, February 14th - 6:30-9:30pm
Saturday, February 15th - 1-5pm

What to expect:

All auditioners should plan to sing at auditions. Those interested in solo parts must audition with a vocal solo. Group auditions will be available for any who prefer an ensemble role. Some auditioners may be asked to read short scenes - in the interest of time, not all auditioners will need to read scenes. Dance auditions will be optional, but those who choose not to participate in this portion of the audition will not be considered for dancing roles.

You’ll need to complete two forms at auditions: the Administration Form to be given to Joelle and the Audition Form for Meg. Each individual actor will have an Audition form while each family will only need to fill out one Admin form. (We are expecting a large turnout for auditions, so please have both forms completed before you arrive. thank you!)

Wonka Rehearsal schedule:

Our rehearsal schedule will primarily consist of:

Mondays (6:30-9pm)

Tuesdays (6:40-9pm)

Saturdays (1-5pm)

There will be 4 weekends where rehearsal is Sunday instead of Saturday

(Feb 23, March 9, March 16, March 30).

Rehearsals will be at the Midcoast Presbyterian Church in Topsham unless otherwise specified.

Most full-cast rehearsals will be on Saturdays until about mid-April when full cast is called for more frequent rehearsals. Weeknights are typically reserved for smaller scene work, solos, and small-group music and choreography until we are closer to performance and begin to run full sections of the show.
