Attendance / Conduct policy
Midcoast Youth Theater wants all participants to benefit from the theatre sessions as fully as possible and have a meaningful and enjoyable arts experience.
We are unable to provide prolonged one-on-one attention to actors or administer medication.
Due to the structure and staffing of our theater shows, parents are urged to carefully consider their child(ren)’s interest in group activities, capacity for following directions, and demonstrating age-appropriate self-regulation before registering.
In the event of seriously disruptive behavior, a child will receive a verbal warning. If the conduct continues, a parent will be notified and given an opportunity to help resolve the issue. If disruptive behavior persists, the child may be withdrawn from the show at the discretion of the director and staff. No refunds will be given for withdrawals under these circumstances.
Attendance:
.
Because of the shortened rehearsal schedule, every day of attendance is critical to a successful performance and to the experience of all involved.
.
.
Due to this condensed schedule, any child who misses more than one day
may be removed from certain scenes/songs.
.
The final decision is at the discretion of the director.
