
2026 Teen Intern Program

MYT 2026 Teen Internship and Mentor Program:
Midcoast Youth Theater is excited to introduce a Teen Internship & Mentor Program
— an opportunity for local teens to learn the ins and outs of theater production while working alongside our creative and technical teams.
Thanks to support from the Davis Family Foundation, these internships are paid
with stipends based on role and time commitment.
Internship areas may include:
Directing
Stage Management
Choreography
Production
Scenic Design
Set Design/Build
Costuming
Lighting
Sound
Positions will be available across several 2026 productions including:
Magic Treehouse
Something Rotten
Shrek
Urinetown
We encourage applications from teens from midcoast Maine who are:

Curious about theater beyond performing

Interested in leadership and collaboration

Reliable and eager to learn

Considering future study or careers in the arts
-
Ready to commit time and energy to a production process
Prior experience is welcome but not required
