2026 Teen Intern Program

Midcoast Youth Theater is excited to introduce a Teen Internship & Mentor Program

— an opportunity for local teens to learn the ins and outs of theater production while working alongside our creative and technical teams.

​

Thanks to support from the Davis Family Foundation, these internships are paid

with stipends based on role and time commitment.

​

Internship areas may include:

Directing

Stage Management

Choreography

Production

Scenic Design

Set Design/Build

Costuming

Lighting

Sound

 

Positions will be available across several 2026 productions including:

Magic Treehouse

Something Rotten

Shrek

Urinetown

​

We encourage applications from teens from midcoast Maine who are:

​

• Curious about theater beyond performing

• Interested in leadership and collaboration

• Reliable and eager to learn

• Considering future study or careers in the arts

• Ready to commit time and energy to a production process
   

Prior experience is welcome but not required

Enthusiasm and responsibility matter most.
