
Feb Teen Theater Master Class

February Session Information:
MYT Theater Masterclass for Teens is open to any students currently enrolled in or the equivalent of 8th -12th grade (approximately 13-18yrs old).
Led by Rachel Morris and Christina Longstreeth, students will be focused on building foundational professional theater skills with segments in speech, movement, basic clowning, accents, dialects, and stage combat. They will also engage in group and solo devised theater projects to create 2-minute pieces showcased in a culminating end-of-week performance.

Dates:
Monday Feb 17th – Thursday Feb 20th: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Friday Feb 21st: 1-8 p.m.
Show Dates:
Friday, Feb 21st at 7 p.m.
Location:
Both the session and shows are taking place at Adaptive Outdoor Education Center
Horizon Center, 675 Old Portland Road, Brunswick
Tuition:
· $250 per week. A sibling discount of $25 is available for additional registrations.
· Tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration.
· Partial scholarships are available for all MYT Theatre Sessions.

Meet Our Creative Team:
Rachel Morris
Rachel Morris, a recent graduate of Hofstra University from Nashua, New Hampshire, earned her BFA in Drama Performance with minors in Fine Arts and Disability Studies. This past summer, she directed Cinderella Jr. and Annie Jr. with MYT. Previously, she served as assistant director for MYT productions alongside Avery Himes, including Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, and Matilda.n
Christina Longstreeth
Christina Longstreeth grew up dancing, choreographing and performing in western Massachusetts, making her professional debut with Barrington Stage Company in 2013. Christina has choreographed and performed with companies from Bar Harbor to Portland, most recently choreographing Honk! for Studio Theater of Bath this fall. Additionally, she has choreographed for show choirs, contemporary ballet companies, and film projects across the state.
