Midcoast Youth Theater

Auditions will be held on

Thu, Jan. 15th and Fri, Jan. 16th

6:00-8:30pm

Auditions are open to performers currently in

Grade 7th to 12th

Casting will be an open call, but the cast size is limited to 20 actors.

There is no pre-registration for auditions.

Everyone should plan to arrive at the START time on EITHER Thursday or Friday.

You do not need to come to both days. For actors who are not cast in a role,

we hope you'll consider joining MYT for a future production.

Sides

Sides are available to allow actors time to review the material.

Familiarity with the lines is expected and will help you feel more

ready and self-assured during your audition.

Please print and fill out the Audition Form ahead of time and bring it with you to auditions.

You will need to fill out the Administrative Form at auditions

Troupe Fees

To help cover the cost of producing each show, there is a $100 troupe fee per production.

Troupe fees are due at the first rehearsal.

We offer generous scholarships for families who may need financial assistance.

Outsiders Rehearsal Schedule

Rehearsals will take place at the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center (AOEC)

located at 675 Old Portland Rd. in Brunswick.

Rehearsals will begin on Monday, January 19th

Rehearsal schedule:

- Mon nights from 6:30-8:30 pm

- Wed nights from 6:30-8:30 pm

A more detailed, day-to-day rehearsal schedule will be provided after casting and throughout the rehearsal process.

Tech week will take place at the AOEC starting March 9th, with shows running from March 13th-15th.

Actors interested in auditioning should review the rehearsal schedule carefully.

Because of the condensed timeline, cast members will need to be available for the majority

of the rehearsals and must have no prior conflicts during tech & show week.

More than 1 rehearsal “no show” may result in removal from the production.
