Rehearsals will be begin on Monday, February 23rd
Tech week will take place at Crooker Theater starting Thursday, April 30th
with shows running May 7-10th.
Actors interested in auditioning should review the rehearsal schedule carefully.
Because of the condensed timeline, cast members will need to be available for the majority
of the rehearsals and must have no prior conflicts during tech & show week.
More than 1 rehearsal “no show” may result in removal from scenes/songs.

Troupe Fees
We’re excited to welcome performers of all ages to audition for our upcoming production!
This season, we’re offering two great audition options to fit a variety of schedules and interests.
Our standard MYT auditions are open to anyone interested in being considered for a primary role or the main ensemble. There is a $100 registration fee for those selected through the audition process.
Registration payment or scholarship requests will be due at the first rehearsal.
We’re also thrilled to introduce our “Swamp Family” audition track—perfect for families or friend groups who want to share the stage with a smaller time commitment.
Swamp Family participants will perform in our energetic opening song "Story of my life".
After that song, they are free to leave during tech week and on show nights.
There will be fewer rehearsals for this group making it a great option for younger performers or anyone with a limited schedule. The reduced registration fee of $50 per person or scholarship request is due
at the first rehearsal.
Please note that in the case of a large number of auditionees, some actors may be placed in the “Swamp Family” group only, in an effort to keep our cast size safe and manageable.
Auditions
Auditions will be held on Friday Jan 30th from 6:00-9:30pm and Saturday Jan 31st from 1-5pm
at the Mid Coast Presbyterian Church in Topsham.
There is no pre-registration for auditions.
Everyone should plan to arrive at the START time on EITHER Friday or Saturday.
You do not need to come to both days - just one or the other.
Once you’ve finished your audition (and any side reading or dance portion, if you’re called for those), you’ll be free to head out.
Parents with young children must stay for the entirety of their auditions.
Auditions will be open to children 5yr+ & adult of all ages

Everyone will be considered for every role regardless of song choice.
Auditionees can bring sheet music for our pianist Courtney to play or sing with a karaoke track (we'll have a bluetooth speaker there). Acapella auditions are accepted but not encouraged.
SIDE READING: We will have sides prepared for reading at the audition.
DANCE: All actors should wear clothes they can comfortably move in, and bring dance shoes if they have them.
DIGITAL AUDITIONS: Digital auditions are accepted upon request only. Please contact XXXX for more information.
