Open to performers currently in 7th-12th grade.

Rehearsal Schedule

Rehearsals will mostly take place at the Midcoast Presbyterian Church in Topsham, and at the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center (AOEC) in Brunswick.

Rehearsals will begin on Sun, Jan 25th

Rehearsal schedule:

- Wed nights from 7:00-9:30pm (Midcoast Church)

-Thu nights from 6:30-9:30pm (AOEC)

- Sundays afternoons from 3:00-5:00 pm (Midcoast Church)

A more detailed, day-to-day rehearsal schedule will be provided after casting and throughout the rehearsal process. 

Tech week will take place at the Crooker Theater starting April 3rd 

with shows running from April 9th-12th.

Actors interested in auditioning should review the rehearsal schedule carefully.

Because of the condensed timeline, cast members will need to be available for the majority

of the rehearsals and must have no prior conflicts during tech & show week. 

More than 1 rehearsal “no show” may result in removal from scenes/songs.

FORMS

There are two forms: one online and one to print and bring with you to auditions

Auditions will be held on Wednesday, January 14th and Thursday, January 15th ?

There is no pre-registration for auditions.

Everyone should plan to arrive at the START time on EITHER Wednesday or Thursday.

You do not need to come to both days - just one or the other.

 

Auditions are open to performers currently in Grade 7 & up​

SINGING:

Audition song selections should be no longer than 2 minutes - actors should bring sheet music OR an accompaniment track (with no other voices) cued to where they wish to start the song. 

We will have a bluetooth speaker available.

A cappella auditions are strongly discouraged.

Songs do not need to be from the show, but rather should be something the actor knows well enough that they can show personality while singing.

DANCING:

All actors should wear clothes they can comfortably move in, and bring dance shoes if they have them.

READING:

We will have sides prepared for reading at the audition.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Casting will be an open call, but the cast size is limited to xx.  

 

We invite everyone interested to audition, we are looking for 10 male-presenting actors, 15 female-presenting, and 15 of any gender.

There will be a maximum of 3 adult roles (1M, 1F, 1 either).

Troupe Fees

To help cover the cost of producing each show, there is a $100 troupe fee per production.

Troupe fees are due at the first rehearsal.

We offer generous scholarships for families who may need financial assistance.
